Like most email advertising providers Nowadays, You’ll Need to Go through a review process before being able to correctly use the program.
When you first sign up, you’ll be asked to complete your profile.
This includes information such as your company name, site, Business, address, company size, list size and also the kind of content you intend to send.
Then, you need to confirm your Site (or domain ).
This is still part of the acceptance process, and MailerLite will Simply ask which email is related to that domain so they could email you a confirmation link.
Once you’ve completed those Steps, you’ll need to wait it out.

(MailerLite even debated Changing the name to’Tags’, but ultimately decided against it)
Contrary to Segments, Groups are upgraded manually or through an Automation principle — that we will get into in a moment — and they don’t have any value besides what you call them.
As you start to use this platform, you’ll Start to understand At which Segments and Groups are typically used, however, MailerLite offers a hand in case you’re unsure:
Basically, groups are more of a Deliberate action on a per-subscriber foundation, whereas Segments allow you to bulge multiple contributors together based on a common denominator.
Somewhat confusing, I’ll admit… but I believe it is a fair trade-off For the added flexibility. In any case, they’re optional.
Finally, the’Fields’ tab is used to personalize your email copy.
You’ll notice that MailerLite has Already populated this area with their own fields, such as name, company, and nation.
If You Would like to create your own custom fields, you can do so by Clicking on the’Add new field’ button.
So how do they actually work?
You can either upload a CSV file of your subscribers along with Your custom field data in separate columns… or may easily add these fields to a forms which will only apply to future readers.

I will not go too much to the shape Stuff here because I have an entire section on this below, but this is the strategy I’d recommend if you wished to use this feature.
Again, once you’ve gathered your custom field data from fresh Subscribers, you are able to pull them in to your email content and subject line.

Reports for automations will also be Available under the’Automations’ tab, even though I found these to be less insightful than effort reports.

Overall, MailerLite does a Stellar job with their reporting port, and many will get the available data more than enough to meet their demands.
What’s email advertising without a dashboard of automation?
For most reading this, MailerLite’s automation capabilities Could simply make or break this particular review.
The good news? If you have ever used a visual workflow builder, then You will instantly feel at home here…
Much like the rest of MailerLite, The automations interface is easy, clean and easy to navigate — something which certainly can’t be said for every email advertising software.
After establishing your trigger, you can Start adding measures to your workflow.
These measures can be anything from sending an email, adding a Delay, a bubble break, or an action, such as moving a contributor or upgrading their records.
Here’s a simple workflow I set together, where readers Are unsubscribed when they do not open my email within 7 days.
There are innumerable Possibilities when it comes to workflow automations similar to this, and MailerLite should have no trouble with the vast majority of use cases.
Granted, it is not quite as Feature-rich as something such as ActiveCampaign because it lacks a number of the conditional elements. (Split, Visit, Goal, etc.. )
For Instance, there’s currently no automation for transferring Subscribers directly into a different automation.
That being said, the Majority of these activities can Nevertheless Be achieved by moving Subscribers into various classes that trigger new automation workflows. It’s simply much less effective…. yet.
Another question of efficiency here is when generating new emails In the automation workflow builder.
